Project Insights
Replacement of chillers, boilers, and air handling units at the Building R—Learning Resource Center. Perform lockout/tagout of the building heating hot water (HHW) and chilled water (CHW) systems.
Upcoming Milestones:
- Notice to proceed issued: November 10, 2025
- Construction kickoff: January 5, 2026
- Tentative functional testing scheduled for February 2, 2026
- Functional testing began February 17, 2026 and is currently in progress
- Change Order routed March 25, 2026 for Humidity Sensors for AHU 1 and 2.
Project Features
- Boiler and Air Handling Unit (AHU) replacement
- Perform lockout/tagout of HHW and CHW systems
- Install specified equipment, including all required rigging
- Install new insulated piping in accordance with project plans
- Provide and commission BMS controls and devices for:
- New heating hot water system
- Two air handling units
- Furnish and install all required sensors, valves, actuators, and control enclosures
- Complete all electrical connections for new equipment
